In 1991 i qualified as a General Registered Nurse and following this as a Midwife and Community Health Nurse.In 2003 i joined the nursing team at Balcombe Place Care Home in the capacity of an assistant Matron and 2007 i was promoted to the position of Deputy Matron.
I have always been interested in the field of elderly care and i am committed towards ensursing that we provide a quality service which is Resident focused.I started the duties of Acting Matron/Manager in June 2010 and i find my new role exhilarating and rewarding.

Miss Irene Gota - Wellcross Grange
In 1974 I qualified as a General Nurse and following this I trained as a Midwife. I have worked in the Eldely Care sector since 2003. In 2004 I joined the Nursing Team at Wellcross Grange Care Home as a Senior Staff Nurse and was promoted to the postion of Deputy Matron soon after. I am looking forward to undertaking the duties of my new post (Acting Matron /Manager) which starts on 14th of November 2009.
I have a strong commitment towards ensuring Residents receive the best possible Care and that we adopt a holistic approach to service delivery.

Mrs Ann Sayers - Kingswood Court
I commenced my nursing training at The Royal London Hospital in 1975 and qualified as a General Nurse in 1978, my nursing career has been orientated towards the care of Older People both in nursing and residential care.
In 1997 I joined the staff team at Kingswood Court Care Home in the capacity of Deputy Matron and in 2000 I was promoted to the position of Matron/Manager. I possess a strong commitment towards the provision of quality care, that is tailored to meet the individual needs of Residents and service development.
In 2001 I was awarded the Certificate in Management and in 2003 the Diploma in Management Studies.

Mrs Pauline Borland - Aldersmead
I trained as a Registered General Nurse at Lewisham and Guys University Hospital where I completed my training in December 1982. I have experience of working in the health service and private hospital sectors.
I started work at Aldersmead Care Home in 2002 in the capacity of Nurse Manager and since 2006 in the capacity of Matron/Manager; throughout my nursing career I have been passionate about the importance of treating Older People as individuals and providing the highest quality of service possible.
In 2005 I was awarded the Royal College of Nursing Diploma in Health Service Management and I hold a Diploma in Health and Social Welfare.
